Poetry Nights at Fremont Park: August 31st and Sept 21st

The Sacramento Poetry Center will be hosting "Hot Poetry" readings at Fremont Park in August and September.

- Garland Thompson, Jr., from Pacific Grove, who is featured in the New Poets Laureate Book of Poems published by the Sacramento Poetry Center.

- Robert Lozano; a long-time local performance poet and publisher.

Monday, September 21st, at 6 p.m.

- Ruebi Freyja:  A poet, songwriter and musician who recently was accepted into the graduate program at Mills College.
